This category consists of all sorts of guides or "HOWTOs" for users and developers.

Basic End User documentation is for general users who use the phone like you would use any other smartphone. Install some software, configure basic things via configuration programs, call friends, write SMS, record GSM tracks and so on.

Advanced End User guides are for owners who are not afraid of ssh'ing to their phone and tweak some Linux config file to use the system for more than a general user would.

Application Developers will make new programs for the Openmoko distributions, port existing software or modify already ported software.

System Developers will build complete distributions, kernel modules, hardware component drivers.

Wiki editors: please categorize your articles into one of these three instead the general Guides category.
