Mer is an other Distribution based on Maemo
Mer have been ported to Freerunner thanks to the eshopen distributor support Vincenzo Ampolo (goshawk) and Carsten M. Munk (Stskeep).
First alpha image have been released and can be downloaded and installed following these instructions:
