I think is a good idea to remove this: now /etc/init.d/nodm is used as config file, so it doesn't need more to be diverted.

2. Edit /etc/init.d/nodm and change USER=root to USER=username in it. Then to make sure changes are not lost on upgrade, run

What's the purpose of this page's content wrt http://wiki.debian.org/DebianOnFreeRunner ? Which one should be modified in priority ? -- OlivierBerger 10:57, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

4/12/08, Joachim Breitner said: I’d prefer if the debian.org wiki contains only concise install information and maybe important warning. Unrelated or general stuff (e.g. how to make a backup) ought to be moved out to a subpage or the openmoko wiki IMHO and only linked.

The openmoko wiki page seems (and that’s ok) more a place for discussion and further (inofficial, or risky) hacks related to Debian. I think this is a useful separation. The openmoko wiki page needs to be cleaned up thoroughly, it seem, as it is large, confusing and has some outdated information.

Blank password issue (removed)

I removed this part. If someone still has this problem with debian please insert it again on Wiki

If entering a blank password does not work at first, try rebooting. If still no success, boot to 2008.08/2007.02, chroot to the micro SD card and set a new password.
