Battery Life
No measured test.
Coming from a full charge, after making my test calls the power indicator dropped to 2/3. I'm not sure if this is the indicator's problem or if two short calls actually killed 1/3 of my battery power or if it's part of an on-going issue.
Software Keyboard
- Keyboard type - Multi-tap
- Displays correctly - Yes
- Usability - Poor. Multi-tap input's lack of CTRL keys harms terminal use. Without predictive input, too many key presses per line make this less than enjoyable to use. Also, the move from a landscape input to a portrait signifigantly decreases usability of many apps (like Contacts and Calendar). Additionally, the game "Solo" is un-playable since there is no way to call up the keyboard. Bug #1215 reported See also Switching Keyboards.
User Feedback
Please provide feedback on how to improve these reviews. Also, please identify yourself when making changes.
(erko) Thanks for all the testing. This is great. I have a suggestion for an additional test. Receiving a phone call while GPRS is connected has not worked yet as far as I know. I think this is pretty important for general usability of the neo.
(Kevin Dean) Indeed it is. Right now, the GSM modem doesn't have a multiplexer so this feature isn't "broken", it simply doesn't exist. I'll do my best to get GPRS working on my phone and try and add that to future reviews!
