Overview

The IM Presence Panel Application is used to modify your IM presence(s).

Use Cases

Here are some possible use cases:

• I want to be able to quickly set my presence to away
• I want my IM presence to reflect when I am on the phone
• I want my IM presence to reflect when I am busy, as noted in my calendar

Appearance & Interaction

On Tap

Opens IM application

On Tap with Hold

Opens a Popup Menu with the following structure:

Item	Action	Constraints
Available	Opens Dialog to show status.	Grayed-out when current presence is available
Away	Opens Dialog to show status.	Grayed-out when current presence is away
Offline	Opens Dialog to show status.	Grayed-out when current presence is offline
