Flight Mode

This mode turns off all antennas that can transmit.


The following items regarding this issue should be clarified:

  • Should a special icon representing an airplane be shown in the Top Panel Area when Flight Mode has been enabled?
  • Should all transmitting antenna icons like Bluetooth, GSM, WIFI have a special disabled (flight mode) version next to the default on or off icon? This icon can look like the broken WIFI icon.
  • While we are at the subject, the icon for the lowest sound level is also not a muted version like the broken WIFI icon or like you see on many computers, a speaker with a cross through it.
