Overview
This article defines the File Browser Application, an application designed for the OpenMoko platform. This is a Native Stylus-Based application.
Use Cases
Here are some possible use cases:
- Keep and open attachments separately from their emails.
- Free space on the phone.
- View which files take up the most space on the phone using something like Konqueror's visual file size display (every file is a rectangle proportional in size to the file's size on disk).
- Keep and open downloaded files (via a web browser) separately from their
- Delve into the innards of the PIM storage without having to launch separate apps for each part of the storage (possibly).
- Delve into the innards of the phone's actual filesystem.
- Browse my own files and data without seeing the phone's filesystem when I don't want to do so.
