XSkat lets you play the card game Skat as defined by the official Skat Order. It was developed by Gunter Gerhardt.

Install:

opkg install http://www.elste.org/downloads/xskat_4.0_armv4t.opkg

This was tested successfully with OM2008.12 on freerunner. But as the only dependency is libX11 it should run on any distribution using a X-server.

You can download the original source from the project homepage. Or the the version with all changes required for the freerunner, start script, desktop file, etc. from http://www.elste.org/downloads/xskat-4.0-om.tgz.

Skat is a trick-taking game using a 32-card deck.

You can find an introduction for beginners at http://jwsell.wooster.edu/skat/Skatpages/Skatarchive/Beginnerskat.html. Or take a look at the Wikipedia article.

Just tap on a free spot on the gamefield to bring up an options dialog. Here you are able to change the player name, the language (english and german available), the deck used, the computer opponents strength and a lot of other things.
