I used successfully the HuaWei E160 Usb Umts Adapter with OM2008.09 and pppd scripts, the modem was detected immediately after switching to usb host mode with power. [[User:MicVM|MicVM]], 2 June 2009

If using an USB card, will it be possible to get UMTS active/neighbour cell infos (rx level + cell id) ? And will UMTS be supported by openMoko (and openMoko phones) soon?? Tchufa
