Jonathan Petersson I do agree that the bootup time is significantly longer but I've personally been unable to reproduce #1210 and overall the system feels "snappier" rather than 2008-01-29

Kevin Dean I noticed today as I was linking the rootfs image that I actually pulled the 2008-01-29 image from buildhost.automated.it and NOT the official buildhost. This may account for the discrepancy. Bug 1210 was from an official snapshot and I realize now I erased a screenshot of it (though it's useless to anything other than proving it happened).
