Il S3C2410 Steppingstone è uno speciale grande aplificatore a 4KBytes che permette al S3C2410 di caricarsi direttamente da NAND flash.

Di base alcuni microcode nascosti nel S3C2410 si prendono cura di copiare i primi 4KB della NAND flash nella RAM, e ri-mappano la prima pagina SDRAM da 0x30000000 a 0x00000000.

Il bootloader dopo ha bisogno di codice per caricare il rimanente codice del bootloader dalla NAND prima di eseguire se stesso.
